 Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker

Today Was a Sad, Sad Day.

We put Claire's Little Lamb Swing away today.

She hasn't been in it for at least a month, but I've refused to put it away just in case she decided to take a nap in it one last time. But it never happened.

She spent the majority of her early days in that swing.

I'd be lying if I said I'm not a little sad.

Just another reminder that my baby girl is growing up way too fast.

Sigh.

Now I need to figure out what to fill the big empty space in my living room with. A bench perhaps? I suck at any type of decorating.

In other news, my child has learned not only how to fake cough, but does yoga too!

Hubbs just caught it on video. Hilarious.

  1. I remember doing that too. I replaced the space with a cute drawer/cabinet/ cubby hole organizer to put all the toys away in.

  4. I just did the same thing! I cleared out the "Baby Stuff Graveyard" yesterday. No more bouncy seat, playmat, infant carseat, and swing. I was a little sad too!

  12. I was sad to put the swing away with Lilah too...but I also didn't like bringing back out all the giant infant gear for baby #2 either. It just so large and cumbersome! And I agree with the above poster...save that space for big girl toys! I'm sure she will end up with plenty over the next year or so. Maybe a play kitchen for her 1st bday...always a big hit!
