"Bumpdate"

Well folks, I am 12 weeks today! One more week & I'll be kissin' the 1st tri buh-bye (or maybe kickin' it). Part of me thinks, "wow, I'm 12 weeks already??" another part of me thinks "wow, I'm only 12 weeks??". I guess finding out you're pregnant at 3 weeks makes it go a bit slower.

I am *hopefully* almost over morning sickness, but I don't want to jinx anything. I only feel sick in the morning which is a huge step up from feeling sick all day. But guys, let me tell you that me & Bath & Body Works are not friends right now. Every single scent I have at my house from there makes me want to vomit i.e. my wallflowers (had to un-plug all of them) my bodywash (had to switch to something less scented) my soap & lotion? fagetaboutit. YUCK! Oh & I haven't been able to wear my beloved Lola by Marc Jacobs perfume that D got me for Christmas. Last time I wore it (about 3 wks ago) I almost barfed ::sigh:: Hopefully the second tri will allow me to love my scents again.

Survey Time:

How far along?: 12 weeks
How big is baby?: A plum!! Grow babyyy
Weight Gain?: I think I have come off a gaining period & am finally evening out. Hopefully I've lost a little from the bloat that has subsided
Maternity Clothes?: still just the BeBand
Stretch Marks?: nope, nope
Sleep?: um, if I could sleep all day & night, I would. The exhaustion really sets in around 3 & doesn't let up until I crash on the couch around 5:30. Oh & I also pee 4X before I even fall asleep at night.
Best Moment this Week?: well since this week has been very uneventful, I would say hitting the 12 wk mark is the best.
Movement?: not yet!
Food Cravings?: nothing too exciting. If you can believe it, I have been wanting grapes & apples a lot!
Gender: Hopefully we'll find out in about 4 weeks!
What I miss?: not feeling like I got hit by a truck everyday & my skinny jeans
Belly Button?: INNNIE
What I'm looking forward to?: my next doctor appt. next week!
Milestone: 1 week until the second trimester!

I feel like it looks more like bloat agin this week?
Ugh.

  5. I'm new to your blog and I just love following your pregnancy since I'm in the same boat as you! This is my second time around, and I'm in the second trimester right now. Let me tell you, one day you wake up and you feel 100... err scratch that... 85% better! I'm glad you are almost over morning sickness and enjoy your pregnancy! Are you guys hoping for a boy or a girl? Any more kids in the future?

  7. Love the bump!!!!
I'm glad your atleast only sick in the mornings now. And I know exactly what you mean about certain cents. When I was prego, anything from Victoria's Secret made me want to vom! Especially the "Pink" lotion. Which I loved before I was prego.
I still get sick when I smell it. It must be a mental thing now.

I'm glad your doing good. 12 weeks. Its crazy, it flies by so fast. Enjoy your ever growing belly. Its the best uncomfortable thing to ever happen!

  8. Yay! Second tri is the best! You get a lot more energy and aren't too big and waddling around yet. Plus strangers will finally start asking you, "when are you due" and "do you know if its a boy or girl yet", instead of not saying anything because they aren't sure if you are pregnant or not. I was so happy when a stranger finally said something about my pregger belly. By the way yours is way cute!

  9. LOL, I totally know how you feel as far as thinking "only 3 months" but believe it or not, after the morning sickness passes, you will love being pregnant and not even realize how fast it goes by. I am 30 weeks tomorrow, and looking back I cant figure out where all the time went. I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks, the morning sickness kicked in at 7 weeks, and didnt go away until probably 14 weeks...I know I was a couple weeks into the second trimester and fearing that I was going to be one of those women who is sick throughout the pregnancy...it will probably pass completely in a couple weeks if not a little sooner, and then amazing Bath and Body Works will be aloud back in the house. *wink*
